The Red Breasted Wrasse or Maori Wrasse is one of the larger wrasses. It has seven vertical white bands down its brownish body and the area around the pectoral fins is red.
The Red Breasted Wrasse is a docile wrasse and will graze on live rock during the day. It needs to be kept in a large peaceful community tank. Have lots of good hiding places and thick sandy substrate. Will eat invertebrates and smaller fish.
